Thai Medallion Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Thai Medallion Restaurant feels like entering a quietly vibrant corner of Naperville where warmth and tradition quietly mingle. This unassuming Thai spot carries a comforting, unhurried rhythm—a place where the hum of conversation blends with the delicate clatter of dishes, inviting you to slow down and savor more than just the flavors on your plate.
Though it now embraces a takeout rhythm, the care in each order still reveals itself in every bite. Whether you’re drawn to the fragrant basil fried rice or intrigued by the delicate balance of spice and depth in the chicken kua gling, there’s a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship that lingers long after the first taste. The richly aromatic tom yum noodle soup and tender beef dishes offer a layered experience that speaks to kitchen traditions lovingly preserved.
Desserts here close the meal on a gentle, nostalgic note—sticky rice paired with creamy Thai custard or the sweet surprise of fried banana with coconut ice cream. Each brings a quiet joy that feels both familiar and special, like an unexpected moment of comfort in your day.
What sets Thai Medallion apart is less about flash and more about a sincere connection to authentic Thai flavors presented with genuine kindness. It’s a place where you can tailor your spice level without losing the essence of the dish, hinting at the thoughtful attention given to individual tastes and the desire to share something meaningful beyond just food.
In a neighborhood that appreciates meals that offer both heart and heritage, Thai Medallion Restaurant becomes a rediscovered favorite—a small, steady beacon for those who appreciate the deep, textured flavors of Thai cuisine handled with care and quiet pride.

Really delicious food with friendly service. I had the Khua Gling.... And was rightfully warned about the intense spice level... But the flavor was incredible and worth it.

Take out food was fresh and ready when we arrived! All the dishes were finished so my family liked it! I just wanted to add that my vegetable dish was good but it seemed to lack flavor and sauce was thin. Would recommend and would come back. They are take out only now.

I've been eating here for years and I recommend it to everyone! Everything I've tried here is amazing, especially the Tom Yum Soup with Chicken and the Pad See Ew Noodles (see pic). They make it exactly how you want from not spicy to your mouth is on fire spicy! Definitely a must try!
